English Country Dancing is Back, Dancing with the Stars, Biodanza

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

English Country Dancing with Randy and Annette is back. Come out on Monday nights at 6:30 at the United Church of Gainesville. Proof of vaccines required.

Come out next Saturday, March 12, for the annual Dance Alive National Ballet Dancing with the Stars Gala with Ray and Eileen. You should get tickets ahead of time.

Mark your calendars on March 25 to 27 for the first Biodanza Weekend of Dance Freedom for the Soul with Yaw.

If you love to dance for the pure joy of dancing, nothing is better than Israeli dancing. Let me know if you would to be notified when we have a new beginner series for Israeli dancing.

We will try to review some older Israeli dances on Monday night to complete some of our playlists: Sheleg Al Eiri, Machol Lashalom, Debka Dror, and Hora Mamtera.

As always, if financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, pay whatever you like or come for free.

Vaccinations required, masks optional, to dance at B'nai Israel. If you cannot get vaccinated for some reason, let me know.

Body Groove with Beth Michelson

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well. I'm back to teaching and I hope you can join in. Here's a little reminder about the class:

Body Groove is a dynamically interactive and creative group dance experience. With great music, I will, as your facilitator, unite everyone in a simple movement or rhythm but you dance it in your own unique way. While exploring a variety of styles and genres you will experience everything from slow, meditative grooves to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. The perfect recipe to nurture body, mind, heart and soul.

We will be meeting at the south east side of West Side Park on 8 Avenue and 34th Street. You can park at the pool or by the playground or by the trail entrance. Probably better to park in the parking lots. There are public restrooms close by. When you arrive please sign and date the waiver form.

Come out for four Saturdays in October at 10 am. Donation $5 to $10.
