Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dance Newsletter 2014-02-16
Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,
Dancing continues this week as usual, with Line, Israeli, English and Scottish at their regular times and places. As always, see the dance calendar for details.
The International Folk Dancers meet for their last time this month on Friday night.
GODS is holding their big Contra Weekend this coming weekend, but if you are not already signed up, even the waiting list is full.
Next month on March 22 and 23, Kol Simcha is bringing in Dany Benshalom and Ruthy Slann for their tenth annual weekend of Israeli Dancing. This will surely be a fun time.
I was dancing with someone at Richard's Swing Dance on Friday and she said to me, "Do you know the basic steps of Swing? You should take some lessons." A dose of humility can be a good thing.
Happy Dancing,
Andy
