Special Events Brazilian Dance with Juliana from Brazil and A Celebration of Dance, Israeli Dancing

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

There is a Contra Dance this afternoon at 4 pm at the Boltin Center.

Two special events coming up in the next week. On Wednesday, Juliana Azoubel, from Brazil, will be teaching a Brazilian Dance Workshop at the Capoeira Academy of Gainesville, 606 N Main Street, $10. juliana.azoubel@gmail.com

On Saturday there will be A Celebration of Dance from Around the World from 3 to 4:45 pm at the Alachua County Library District Tower Road, 3020 SW 75 Street, Gainesville. Katrina, kdancedesigns@gmail.com

Israeli Dancing this Monday evening at 7:15 pm at B'nai Israel. We have been doing Israeli partner dances for about the last 30 to 45 minutes. We added Kan Badarom. We learned the rest of Besof Maagal and will repeat that this week and maybe add another new one.

Newer dances we have been doing are: Behar Hagilboa, Erev Ba, Eretz Yisrael Yafa, Lechu Neranena, Shiri Li Kineret and Zemer Nugeh

Newer partner dances: Besof Maagal, Elu Tzipporim, Laner Velabesamim, Leor Chiyuchecht, Kan Badarom and Shecharchoret
