Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

Israeli Dancing Monday as usual at 7:15 pm at B'nai Israel. Last we we continued to do Israeli Partner Dances at the end, including the classic Ahuvi Chazor. We have two more weeks of Monday night Israeli dancing through September 7. Then we will be off for 4 weeks due to the Jewish holidays all falling at the beginning of the week.

Register now for Santa Fe College Community Education dance sessions here www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed. I will be teaching two 6-week sessions on Thursday nights: Argentine Tango at 6 pm and Swing at 7 pm at Gainesville High School. Other dance sessions are: Ballroom Dancing for Couples with Ray and Eileen. Tap Dancing with Chaya Heller. Belly Dancing with Marjorie Malerk. Acro Balance and Brazilian Samba and Forro with Corey Souza.

Friday the International Folk Dancers meet.

Saturday is a Contra Dance in McIntosh and a Fire Dance Workshop, cool or should I say hot, at The Primitive Studio.

Sunday is an Advanced Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 4 pm.
