Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

New Dance Classes

Lots of new classes starting up. First my classes

- Beginning and Experienced West Coast Swing on Monday nights from 6 to 7:15 pm, semi-private, contact me to join, 5 weeks, $60 (one night free) or $15 per night, start this Monday

- Beginning Salsa Dancing on Thursday nights from 6 to 7 pm, 4 weeks, $39, sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education, starting October 29 at Gainesville High School

- Beginning Hustle on Thursday nights from 7:10 to 8:10 pm, 4 weeks, $39, sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education, starting October 29 at Gainesville High School

- Line Dancing at the Senior Center on Thursdays from noon to 1 pm, 3 weeks, $24, sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education, starting October 29 at Gainesville High School

Let me know if you would be interested in a session on Mondays from 5 to 6 pm or from 8:30 to 9:30 pm, possibly in Argentine Tango, Lindyish Swing or something else.

These are the other dance classes offered via Santa Fe College Community Education: Bachata 101, Basic Ballroom I for Couples, Belly Dancing for Everyone, Brazilian Samba and Forro, Nightclub Dancing for Couples, Salsa 101 on Mondays at 9 pm and Vertical Arabesque.

Weekend of Dancing

Friday night is Josh's West Coast Swing Dance Social at 7:30 at the Movement, $10. The UF Swing Club meets at 8 pm at the Unified Training Center, free. The Gator Salsa Club Social is at 9 pm at Corry Village, free.

Saturday night is the monthly Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 7 pm, $10. David and Thuy host an Argentine Tango Milonga, contact david.chayes@gmail.com.

Sunday is the monthly Vintage Waltz Brunch at 10:30 am at the Movement, $10. In the afternoon join Swing and Sway for a Ballroom Dance at 3 pm at the Senior Center. In Ocala at 5 pm is an evening of West Coast Swing with a social at 7 pm at PM Respiratory, 3306 SW 2 Avenue, Suite 402, $5.
