New Line Dance Series Register Now, Contra On Sunday, International Friday

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

New Israeli Dancing six week series starts this Monday at B'nai Israel from 7:15 to 8:30 pm. We have had some new people start lately, so if you are interested, this is a good time to start, with other newcomers. We go slower so everyone can keep up. $5 per night for newcomers. $30 for six weeks for regulars.

A new 4 week series for Line Dancing at the Senior Center starts this Thursday. Register now via SFC Community Education. Call 352-395-5193 or visit www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed, look under Seniors.

Next Friday the International Folk Dancers meet. People want to dance every week. They are in the process of going back to a weekly schedule, instead of just twice a month, not quite yet though.

Next Sunday is the Monday afternoon Contra Dance at 4 pm at the Boltin Center, waltzing at 2:45.

Six week series for Beginning West Coast Swing starts this Mondays at 5:30. This is for newcomers. No experience and no partner needed. We rotate partners, but rotating is not required. This is a small group and I try to gender balance. Currently we need a couple of guys. Whatever your gender, if you are interested, contact me. $75 for six weeks, includes Thursdays Salsa and Swing in March, what a deal, special this month only.

This Thursday starts a five week series in Salsa at 6 pm and Lindy-style Swing at 7 pm. These are for beginners, but not absolute newcomers. This is a continuation of a series that was for newcomers. If you can keep the rhythm and do not mind jumping in, let me know. $60 for five weeks.

If you miss these new series, in April there will be new series for beginning Line Dancing at the Senior Center, Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing all via SFC Community Education.
