Sign Up Now for Senior Line Dancing in April, Dances of Universal Peace

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

Israeli Dancing week 4 of 6 on Monday at B'nai Israel from 7:15 to 8:30 pm.

Saturday experience a day of Dances of Universal Peace at the www.PeacockParadise.org.

The holiday of Purim is Tuesday night. In the story of Purim, Mordecai tells Esther to go to the king to plead to save the Jews. Esther says that if she goes to the king unsummoned, she could be put to death. You might think that Mordecai would say to her that she must go, otherwise the Jews will all die. Instead Mordecai tells her if she does not save the Jews, someone else will, but perhaps she has been placed in this position for this purpose. I heard one speaker relate that in our own lives, we are given opportunities, usually not so momentous, and we have a choice to stay in the background or rise to the occasion.
