New Line Dancing at Senior Center, Israeli Dancing, Saturday English Country Dance

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

Come out to B'nai Israel for Israeli Dancing with Andy this Monday at 7:30 pm. Only $5 per family, college age free. We will start to concentrate on dances by Shmulik Gov Ari, Moshe Eskayo, Shlomo Mamon, Avner Naim and maybe some other choreographers that will be at the upcoming Israeli Dance camp in New York, to get Kathie prepared. We will do circle dances from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We will start exactly on time, so get there earlier to be ready to dance at 7:30. We need to figure out what we want to do at 8:30. Is an hour enough? Do we want to dance longer? I like to do partner dances? Are we going to do some of those?

A new Line Dancing at the Senior Center series starts this Thursday. Sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education.

Friday starts the GODS Contra Dance Weekend. The event may be sold out. For details see godsdance.org/?q=weekend2017

Part of the GODS Weekend open to the public is the Saturday English Country Dance Brunch from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Thomas Center. Believe the cost last year was $20.
