Israeli Dancing Tonight, Line Dancing Thursday, End of Year Party
Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,
We are Israeli Dancing with Andy tonight Tuesday December 26 at 7 pm at B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side, $5.
We are Line Dancing at the Senior Center on noon on Thursday December 28. The next Line Dancing series starts again on Thursday January 25.
Andy's End-of-the-Year Dance (and birthday) Party
Come to my End-of-the-Year Dance (and birthday) Party with Andy at Rena's Ballroom, 720 NW 23 Ave, at 7 pm. Everyone invited, even if you do not know me, now is a good time to meet.
No charge. No gifts. No experience and no partner needed. You can dance to the music anyway you like. If you only know one dance, you can do that to everything. If you do not know any dances, you can freestyle, or hang out and socialize.
BYOB. Rena's has water bottles for sale for $1 for two. There will be a table, if you want to bring snacks to share. No street shoes on the dance floor. Bring shoes with soft, clean soles that will not damage or dirty Rena's floor.
At the beginning, I will be doing a preview of my upcoming book How to Dance with a Partner. This will be a short, fun session on how to communicate every step in every dance following simple rules and signals. No actual dancing is involved in this exercise. Everyone can do this. More Dancing
This weekend there is a Contra Dance Mini Weekend at the Boltin Center, with a dance Saturday at 7 pm, Waltzing at 5:45, and dances on Sunday at 11 am and 4 pm, all at the Boltin Center.
Also Saturday night is Ecstatic Dance at Aurora Healing Arts.
Towards the end of January, not before January 22, we will start a One-Year Israeli Dancing Beginner Series. Have anyone that wants to start, contact me. No experienced needed.
On Tuesday January 23 is a new series via SFC Community Ed Social Dancing at the Senior Center, no partner and no experience needed. You will learn to dance with a partner with Rumba and Waltz.
