Register now for Social and Line Dancing at the Senior Center, Contra Dance Weekend, New Israeli Dance

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

Coming up this Friday will be a Contra Dance Weekend with Wild Asparagus at the Dancing Fish in Melrose. There will be four dances in three days. The monthly Saturday night Contra dance will be out there.

Register via SFC Community Ed for Social and Line Dancing with Andy at the Senior Center. Line dancing is on Thursdays at noon starting this Thursday. Social dancing is on Tuesdays at noon starting a week from this Tuesday.

Tomorrow Monday at 7 pm at Israeli Dancing we will learn the new dance Israeli Sheli in honor of Israel's 70th birthday. If we have time, we will review however many we can of the dances we have been learning, Veafilu Behastara, Meohav, Liya and Betzeit Yisrael. At about 8:45 pm, we will try to do some Israeli partner dances. If you are a newcomer, let me know beforehand, if you can.
