No Israeli on Monday, Advance Contra Sunday, Ira Weisburd Workshop October 7, Ladies Wanted for Thursday

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Israeli and Folk Dancers,

There is no Israeli Dancing with Andy this Monday September 24 nor October 1 due to the holiday of Succot. Our regular Israeli dancing continues on Monday October 8 at 7:30 pm. $5 per family, students free

Only two weeks unitl unday October 7 with our Israeli and International Folk Dance Workshop with World Renown Choreographer and Master Teacher Ira Weisburd. This is from 1 to 5 pm at B'nai Israel. This is for everyone with some dance experience. You do not need to know the dances. Ira will be teaching them. Put this on your schedule. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to get together with other groups. We have extended the early bird deadline. You can still get the advanced price of $20 by contacting me this week. $25 thereafter.

Line Dancing at the Senior Center with Andy is on Thursday September 27 at noon, week 3 of 6. Sign up via Santa Fe College Community Education. See below for links to videos of the dances we are learning.

Ladies Wanted for Social Dancing on Thursday night. We have some extra leaders at our Thursday night social dance session. We are looking for a few ladies to join us. 7 pm is Lindy Swing (slow), 8 pm is Waltz and 9 pm is Argentine Tango. Let me know if you are interested. At B'nai Israel.

Next Sunday September 30 is is an Advanced Contra Dance at 4 pm, with Waltzing at 2:30, at the Boltin Center.
