This Saturday, April 27, World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

Published: Fri, 04/26/19

Hello , Here is a great, free, fun event, good for your balance and flexibility, this Saturday. Enjoy, Andy

Hi Everybody,

Please join me for a free qigong class/group practice in honor of the 22nd annual World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD). All are welcome! Bring your friends, neighbors, kids, relatives, co-workers, total strangers, etc. WTCQD will start at 10:00 am in the first time zone to the west of the International Dateline. So when it is 6:00 pm on Friday (April 26) here in Gainesville, groups in New Zealand and perhaps elsewhere in that time zone -- certain Pacific islands, far eastern Siberia (brrrrr) – will get the ball rolling. Then WTCQD will work its way westward around the planet. Sixteen hours later it will be our turn: Eastern Time Zone in the US and Canada, eastern Caribbean, Venezuela, Bolivia, western Brazil, Paraguay, Chile. And then it continues westward across the Americas. It looks like Samoa is the best bet for the 2nd-to-last hour of WTCQD. And will Tuvalu do it is part for the final hour?

Our little event: Westside Park in Gainesville; 9:30-11:00 am, Saturday, April 27, 2109

We will be in the pleasant open area between the Westside Recreation Center and the raquetball courts.

Probably, we will be a fairly small group of 10-20 people. I have done this every year starting in 2007, first in Northeast Park and the last few years at Westside. It is always fun, relaxing and refreshing. Please share this message and the flier below with others who might like to attend.

Wish Best Wishes, E. Paul Campbell

Improve balance.
Handle stress more easily.
Reduce health care expenses.
