Chad's Dance, Sweet Swingouts, Contra, Biodanza, Beginners in April

Beginning Swing, Waltz, and Argentine Tango with Andy starts up again on Tuesday April 19 for 4 weeks.

Lots of dance opportunities this weekend starting Friday night with Real Deelz at the Depot and Speakeasy Room in Micanopy at 7 pm.

Saturday all day and night join Sweet Swingouts VII with the UF Swing Club. Worskshops starting at noon. Dancing until 3 am.

Saturday Swing Theory is at One Love Cafe at 6 pm.

Saturday join Chad's Swinging Into Spring West Coast Swing Dance Party with Guest Instructor Stephen White at Rena's Ballroom. Lesson at 7:30 pm. Dancing from 8:30 to 11 pm.

Also Saturday night Contra Dance at the Dancing Fish in Melrose at 7 pm.

Next weekend on March 25 to 27 come out for the first Biodanza Weekend of Dance Freedom for the Soul with Yaw.

Dancing with Andy

We are dancing on Tuesdays and Thursdays in March. Let me know you are coming. Let me know what dances you want to do. Email me to get on our private email list for latest schedule the day before. Invite others.

For the next few weeks, we will be doing both Hustle or West Coast Swing Musicality and Figures Beyond the Basics on Tuesday nights at 7 pm. At 8 pm, we will Waltz or do somethig else. At 9 pm we have Argentine Tango practice for all levels.

Thursdays schedule varies based on those attending. We have been doing Argentine Tango on Thursdays starting at 7:30. Check with us to confirm.

Private lessons are avaialable.

All dancing at Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 23 Blvd, around the left side, 1/2 mile east of Fresh Market.

These are classes with a lot of practice time. There is about 15 minutes of instruction spread over each hour. The rest of the time you dance. You get in about 10 dances of practice each hour. We rotate partners. Rotating is not required. Dancing is for all levels. No partner needed.

Let me know what dances you would like to do. Suggestions include: waltz, foxtrot, East Coast swing, chacha, rumba, hustle, and nightclub two-step, and West Coast swing. If you want to spend some time on one dance, let me know that you want to do a series. Spending a few months on one dance takes you to a new level.

Mondays Israeli Dancing with Andy
7:00 pm Israeli Circle Dancing
8:00 pm Israeli Partner Dancing
$10 per family, free for those that come on Tuesdays or Thursdays

If you are inclined to dance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, the third night the same week is free.

As always, if financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, make arrangements with me to pay what you can afford.

Vaccinations required, masks optional, to dance at B'nai Israel. If you cannot get vaccinated for some reason, let me know.
