You can still join Beginning Swing With Andy on Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm. From 7 to 10 pm join us for Social Dancing With Andy on Thursdays, see below for details. Let me know you are coming. We are not dancing on Tuesdays until October 25 due to the Jewish holidays.
Come out Sunday, September 25 for the Ballroom Dance Afternoon Tea in Leesburg.
This Sunday, September 25 come out for the DFW Swingout Beginners Class with Wanda Lloyd 1 of 8 from 4 to 5 pm at Rosa B Williams.
Wednesdays come out for Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Lessons and Social Dancing at the Reitz Union from 7:30 to 10:30 pm.
Thursdays join UF Argentine Tango Class with Trista and Alper at the Reitz Union at 6 pm.

6:00 - 7:00 pm Beginning Swing Basics
7:00 - 8:00 pm West Coast Swing Basics or Other
8:00 - 9:00 pm Waltz Basics or Other
9:00 - 10:00 pm Argentine Tango Basics
$10 per person for those that have already taken the beginner series
$60 for 4 weeks for new dancers
Mondays Israeli Dancing with Andy
7:00 pm Israeli Circle and Partner Dancing
$10 per person, kids free
If financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, make arrangements with me to pay what you can afford.

Go Straight
Take a look at the Hustle video linked at the top of the newsletter. Notice when Jaime sends Sophie somewhere, Sophie goes on a straight line, turns on that line, and finishes backing up on the line.
You may think nothing of this. This looks normal. However, many ladies, especially in Hustle and Swing, and other dances too, when they turn, they stop turning facing the man, and back out in some random direction, not staying on their line. This happens to the ladies because they are always looking for their man. When they see their man, they stop, and back out. You should not do this.
Sophie looks where she is going. You should too. Do not look at your man when you are going some place. Stay on your line, turn, finish on your line, facing back down your line. The man may get back in front of you or he may stay on the side.
