World Tai Chi Day with Paul Campbell

From: E. Paul Campbell
Email: epaulc@bellsouth.net

Subject: World Taiji and Qigong Day Saturday, April 29 9:30-11:00 AM Westside Park in Gainesville

Hello Everyone,
I hope you will join me in Westside Park on Saturday, April 29, 9:30-11:00 AM for a free qigong class and group practice. Please share this information with others. Starting around 2003, I did this almost every year until Covid. We resumed last year after missing 2020 and 2021. I am happy to be bringing a group together again this year. I think we'll have a group or 10-20 people this time. Min Li and some of her students will join us. If you've done it with me in the past and have a WTCQD tee shirt, please wear it. - Paul C.

Each year, on the last Saturday in April, a 24 hour wave of healing energy flows around the Earth as people gather at 10 AM in each time zone to practice Qigong (including Taiji [Tai chi]).

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day
Saturday, April 29, 2023
9:30-11:00 AM
Westside Park

We meet in the open area between the Community Center and the squash courts. (Westside Park Community Center is at 1001 NW 34th St.) Free class and group practice. All are welcome.

Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) is China’s rich tradition of self-healing using movement, breath and awareness. Together we will do safe, enjoyable, relaxing movements, including selections from the beautiful Wild Goose style. With regular practice you will:

Develop flexibility, coordination and agility. Improve balance. Handle stress more easily. Reduce health care expenses. Gain a stronger body, a sharper mind and a happier mood.
