West Coast Swing Dance Friday, Argentine Tango Practica Tuesday, Social Dance in High Springs

On Tuesday August 8, we are trying out an Argentine Tango Practica with Andy from 8 to 10 pm at Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16th Blvd, Gainesville, 32605. Andrew Weitzen, 352-327-3672. This is a casual practice session. Instruction provided by request. Teachers are welcome to instruct their students. For all levels. No partner needed. Beginners are welcome. $10

Our little group has been expanding. For the sheer joy of moving to music, nothing beats Israeli dancing. We are doing easy dances during the summer and will continue into the fall. Take advantage of our Beginning Israeli Circle and Partner Dancing with Andy on Mondays at 7 pm. $10

Come out every Thursday for Argentine Tango, Hustle!, and Dance Practice Mix with Andy. Hustle! is at 7 pm. Dance Practice Mix is from 8 to 9 pm. During the dance practice we take requests for dances. We typically play each dance two or three times. Some of the dances are Bolero, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Lindy, Nightclub Two Step, Rumba, Texas Two Step, Waltz, and West Coast Swing. If you need some instruction for any of the dances, we will help you out. If you would like to learn a dance, let us know which ones.

Tuesdays take Sip N Swing Balboa and Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Lessons at The Bull downtown at 6 pm.

Tuesdays and Thursdays join Club Ballroom with K Smooth at Rosa B Williams Center at 7 pm.

Wednesdays join the UF Argentine Tango Class with Trista and Alper at the Reitz Union at 5:15 pm.

Wednesdays take Lindy Hop Swing Dancing Lessons at the Reitz Union at 6:30 pm.

Wednesdays take West Coast Swing Beginner Class in Ocala at PM Respiratory at 7:30 pm

If you are inclined to dance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, pay for two nights and the third night the same week is free.
