Red Cross; Beginning Squares, West Coast Swing and Argentine Tango; Dances WCS, Contra, Tango, Waltz

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

The Red Cross is holding their yearly event, which is going to be a Swing Dance. Support the Red Cross and dance to a live band on Saturday, April 26.

Lots of dancing for the next few days.

Andy's Programs

You missed the first week, but can still sign up for Beginning West Coast Swing and Beginning Western Style Square Dancing. Come out this Thursday, April 17. Both are a lot of fun. Sign up via SFC CE. www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed

Experienced dancers are welcome to join us to help out for free at Gainesville High School, thru main entrance and all the way to the left. Square Dancing at 6 pm. West Coast Swing at 7 pm.

Line Dancing in Hawthorne on Tuesdays at 6 pm and the Senior Center on Thursdays at noon. Sign up via SFC CE.

Beginning Argentine Tango meets this Friday, April 18, 6 pm at the Tigert House, 224 NE 10 Ave, $10 for beginners for the class. Newcomers welcome. Experienced dancers welcome to join us for free.

Israeli Dancing next meets Monday, April 28, 7 pm at B'nai Israel, $5

This Weekend

Friday night is Josh's 3rd Friday Dance Social with West Coast Swing at the Movement. UF Swing Club has their Spring Swing Formal at the Unified Training Center.

Saturday night Argentine Tango Milonga with David and Thuy. The monthly Contra Dance is at the Boltin Center with the after party at the Tigert House.

Sunday is a Waltz Brunch at the Movement at 10:30.
