Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Kind of a quite weekend after a couple of months of lots of dancing opportunities. Saturday night Ray and Eileen hold their Ballroom Dance at By Ear Musician. Sunday is the fifth of the month, with an Advanced Afternoon Contra Dance at the Boltin Center.

Some new classes for the month of July start next week. Bob Rogers teaches 6-Count Latin Hustle on Tuesdays and East Coast Swing on Thursdays. Ray and Eileen teach Ballroom Samba on Thursdays.

Dancing with Andy

If you are available during the day, Monday through Fridays, I have been giving private lessons at only $30 per hour. For two people, this is barely more than group classes.

Looking ahead to the end of August, SFC Community Ed has scheduled four sessions for Fall A: Beginning Argentine Tango, Beginning West Coast Swing, Beginning Israeli Dancing and Beginning and Intermediate Line Dancing. If you have taken any of these beginning classes, but have not continued elsewher, plan to take these again. It takes more than 6-weeks to learn to dance. Each time, we do the series differently, so you will continue to learn new things, while you reinforce what you have already learned.
