West Coast Swing Dance tonight, All that Jazz tomorrow, Tango Weekend Workshop, Thanksgiving Salsa Social

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Started teaching a line dancing class at the Atrium. A tall slender woman, in good shape, came up to me afterwards and said, "I used to dance when I was young, but I am unstable now." I asked her old she was. She said, "92".

Tonight join Josh at his 3rd Friday West Coast Swing Dnace Social. Also tonight, the UF Swing Club at the UTC and the Gator Salsa Club at Corry Village, are having free lessons with dance socials.

My tango teacher, Andrea Pham is holding a weekend of workshops, one Friday night, one Saturday night and one Sunday afternoon. These are focused on connection, embrace and getting the feel of things. If you have ever taken a tango class, join us for one or all. $20 each. Contact Andrea, pham.andrea@gmail.com

Saturday night, LaQianya is hosting a Romance and All tha Funky Jazz evening of performances, mingling and dancing. with Josh doing the lighting, at the Brew Spot, 1000 NE 16 Avenue. You do not have to be a dancer. Enjoyable for everyone. Not your same old thing. 8 to 11 pm. Only $5.

Also Saturday is Ray and Eileen's Ballroom Dance. David and Thuy's Tango Milonga is this Saturday, not last Saturday. Their dance has moved to the fourth Saturday of the month.

For a fun weekend of dancing only two to three hours away is the Tampa Bay Lindy Exchange. www.tampalindy.com
