New Summer Swing Series Starts in July, Ballroom Dance Saturday Night

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Summer is upon us. Contact me to join us on Monday nights, at 6 pm, with some of the best air-conditioning around. In July, we will explore the ladies one-and-a-half turns in Swing dancing. This will be four weeks. If you sign up for all four weeks, the cost is $50. Otherwise, $15 per session. These are semi-private, so you get individual feedback from the instructor. This is also the gentlest dancing around as there is no pushing and pulling. This Monday is the last in our rhythm turn series. You can join us, even if you missed the other weeks.

Friday night the Gator Salsa Club has a Latin Dance Social at Corry Village. Here they are dancing a reuda.

Saturday night is a Ballroom Dance at By Ear Musician.

Robert Whitehead is going strong with Texas Swing on Tuesdays and Thursdays and just graduated a new class.

Karina Dance is hosting a Celebration of Dance from Around the World on Saturday, August 8, from 3 to 4:45 pm. "I am hosting a show at the tower road library and I am looking for dancers of all types to come and perform.
