River City Swing Table, Celebration of Dance, Argentine Tango Milonga, In Ocala East Coast Swing and Two Step

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Contact me if you would like to join a small group (10 or less) for semi-private West Coast Swing Dance sessions, where you get personal feedback. Individual feedback is the fastest way to improve, helping you to eliminate bad habits and build good habits. Monday nights 6 to 7:15 pm. $15 per night

Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo is this Saturday night, lesson at 8 pm, dancing until midnight, at The Movement. $10

Swing N Motion with Robert Whitehead has a new location at the Last Chance Banquet Hall, 219 NW 10 Street. They still meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 to 9 pm. Free

West Coast Swing Summer Boot Camp continues with Judi on Wednesday nights at The Movement at 7 pm

Ocala Dancing

In Ocala, two 6-week dance series starts Monday, August 10 at Dancing Around Studio, 3960 South Pine Avenue. Beginning East Coast Swing level 1 at 6:30 pm and Beginning Two Step level 1 at 7:30 pm.

Bands and Shows

Thursday Swing to Stir It Up Duo at Gator Tales from 7 to 10 pm. Saturday afternoon join A Celebration of Dance from Around the World from 3 to 4:45 pm at the Alachua County Library District Tower Road (confirm). Saturday night Swing to Hot Rod Lincoln at Dirty Bar in Thornebrook from 9 pm to 1:30 am.

Beginning Community Education Dance Sessions

A heads up, starting September 3, you can join two 6-week series on Thursdays for beginners via Santa Fe College Community Education: Beginning Argentine Tango at 6 pm and Beginning Swing Dancing at 7 pm.
