Semi-Private West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango at the Harn, Ballroom, West Coast Swing in Ocala

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Let me know if you would like to join our semi-private West Coast Swing Dancing on Monday evenings from 6 to 7:15 pm. Who are these sessions for? They are for you if you want to get to better by changing what you are doing with the help of personal feedback from the instructor. Without personal feedback, it is hard to get to a new level, because you tend to do what you always do; you get better at your bad habits. To get to a new level, you have to change what you are doing. You have to find something that is hard for you to do and then get good at that. This is a small group for beginning and intermediate dancers. The sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the attendees. The focus is on your improving fundamental skills through exercises. There is a theme for each series. The theme for the next series is Make Your Swing Smooth, how to simplify your dancing so you can connect with your partner and move together to slow music in an easy manner. Thursday night at the Harn is Argtine Tango at Museum Nights: Art in Engineering with brief history of tango from an engineering perspective, followed by a performance and class with Alper Unger. www.facebook.com/events/937357719670834

Friday night UF Swing Club is back at the Unified Training Center. The band Swing Theory plays jazz at Market Street Pub at 8 pm, free.

Saturday night Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo meets at 8 pm at the Movement, watching is free. Ballroom Dancers meet at By Ear Musician for a social.
