New Classes Start Thursday Register Now, Ballroom in Ocala, Electro Aerial Show

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

The Beginning Swing class filled up, but SFC opened up some extra spots. There are still 3 spots left. You can also still register for Beginning Argentine Tango. Both start this Thursday. Register now via Santa Fe College Community Education www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed.

Other dance classes are: Senior Line Dancing with Andy, Ballroom Dancing for Couples with Ray and Eileen, Tap Dancing with Chaya Heller, Belly Dancing with Marjorie Malerk, Acro Balance and Brazilian Samba and Forro with Corey Souza.

Friday night the UF Swing Club is back at the at the Unified Training Center, 8 pm lesson, 9 pm dancing, free. There is a Contra Dance in Melrose and a Ballroom Lesson and Dance in Ocala.

Saturday night there is an Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo at the Movement, a Ballroom Dance with Ray and Eileen and an Electro Aerial Show and Jazzology with Carissa Lawrence 8 pm to midnight at Market Street Pub.

Starting Monday September 14 through Monday October 26, learn authentic Brazilian Partner Samba from Rio de Janeiro and Forro from the Brazilian northeast. 7:15-8:15 pm, 250 SE 10th Ave, Gainesville, Corey Souza, 352-316-0682

Luis Bianchi and Daniela Pucci, the guest Argentine Tango professional instructors that were here last weekend, hold a three-week intensive training in Argentina, which is mainly attended by advanced dancers from all over the world coming to get better. Daniela said that mostly the training is just drills on the basic movements you learn in the beginning classes. There is a punchline to a joke that goes, "I already know more than I am doing".
