West Coast Swing Dance Tonight and Monday, Big Band Swing Dance Friday, Contra and Tango Saturday, New Years Eve

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Get in a lot of dancing over the next week, take advantage of the extra opportunities, because there is not much going on the last week of the year.

This newsletter is out early to let you know of Josh's West Coast Swing Holidaze Blues Country Westie Dance tonight Wednesday December 16 at the Movement at 7 pm.

Friday night join Chad and the Gainesville Big Band for Lindy-style Swing Dance at Market Street Pub, from 8 to 11:45 pm, $5.

Saturday night at the Boltin Center is the monthly evening Contra Dance.

Also Saturday night is Tango y Te with David and Thuy in a private home downtown. The public is invited. Contact David for directions. david.chayes@gmail.com

If you are looking to dance on New Years Eve, there will be a New Years Eve Ballroom Dance Party at Rena's Ballroom. What a good way to inaugurate the new dance hall for the new year.

Dancing with Andy

This Thursday, December 17, we are meeting for Salsa at 6 pm and Hustle at 7 pm. Contact me to join us. $15

This coming Monday, December 21 we will have a little West Coast Swing Dance Party. We will start early, at 5:10 pm for beginners for about a half hour for those that can get there that early. We will do some sort of surprise class after the beginners and then dance until 7:15 pm. You can stay afterwards for Israeli dancing. If you are not in our regular class, but would like to come out for a fun evening, contact me to join us. $15

Let me know if you want to meet on Monday, December 28 with a small group for beginning West Coast Swing.

Salsa and Lindy-style Swing 6-week series starts January 21 via Santa Fe College Community Education. You can register starting January 7.
