Too Much - New Dance Classes, New Ballroom, New Studio, Grand Openings, Professional Dancers, Ocala Dancing

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Too much to tell with new classes, a new ballroom, a new dance studio, grand openings and professional dancers, plus three active dance groups in Ocala. Check out the full calendar for Gainesville and Ocala Social Dancing.

Dancing with Andy

First my dance sessions. Registration is now open for Santa Fe College Community Education Winter Session here www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed. Starting January 21 and running for 6 Thursdays at Gainesville High School:
- 6 to 7 pm Salsa
- 7 to 8 pm Lindy-style Swing
In addition to my classes, there are also 5 other dance classes you can look into.

Contact me to join our Monday West Coast Swing group. Beginners at 5:30 and regular session from 6 to 7:15 pm. January 11 we finish up our series on tuck turns. January 18 starts a new 6-week series focusing on whip turns. Cost is $15 per night or $75 for 6-weeks, one week free.

In Gainesville

Dancing is in full swing with the new Rena's Ballroom Grand Opening Dance Party on January 16 a little west of Ward's on the north side. Ray and Eileen are already holding their Ballroom Dance classes there on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Quickstep this month) and have a Ballroom Dance Party at Rena's this Saturday night. They also have a new beginners class each Tuesday at 7 pm.

Friday the UF Swing Club is back in session.

Saturday and Sunday professionals Oscar and Georgina will be at Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo with Workshops, a Performance and a Dance Party.

In Ocala

C4 Dance Academy Grand Opening in Ocala is this Saturday, with free sessions all day until 11 pm at 3442 SE Lake Weir Ave, Ocala, FL 34471, 888-608-4624. They have dance classes five days a week.

USA Dance Club in Ocala has Ballroom Dance Classes on Mondays with Trish Sands and Ballroom Dance Classes on Tuesdays with Brittany Cox.

On Sundays in Ocala dance West Coast Swing with Carol Smith.
