New Dance Series Starting, Advanced West Coast, Beginner Tango, Beginner Swing, Two-Step, Waltz
Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
If you would like to dance from May 19 to June 23 on Mondays and Thursdays, we have some dance series starting up with Andy. Let me know if you want to attend.
Thursdays Starting May 19 for 6 Weeks
- 6 pm Beginning Argentine Tango
- 7 pm Beginning West Coast Swing
Mondays Starting May 23 for 5 Weeks
- 5:30 pm Salsa and other speciality dances
- 6 pm Advanced West Coast Swing or Getting There
- 7:15 pm Israeli Dancing
The Monday schedule is tentative based on your requests. From 5:30 to 6 pm we will do Salsa or maybe spend a night or two on some other dances, so that you can do them at the dance socials, such as: Ballroom Waltz, Blues, Cha Cha, Country Two Step, Country Waltz, Hustle, Lindy Swing, Merengue, Nightclub Two Step, Rumba, Zydeco. If you want more time on some of these dances, we may cut into the West Coast Swing time.
The Advanced West Coast class focuses on quality of movement to help you create a better feeling dancing with your partner, so the two of you are dancing as one to the music. All levels are welcome as long as you have had some West Coast basics.
Cost:
- $60 for the five Mondays (one night free), or
- $75 for six nights (one night free) and you can use your six nights on either Mondays or Thursdays
- $105 for all eleven nights (four nights free)
- $15 per night
If you want to dance on both Mondays and Thursdays, that is 11 nights, if you can make 8 nights or more, the best deal is:
- $105 for all 11 nights, 6 Thursdays and 5 Mondays starting this Thursday 5/19
If you are going to make just 5, 6 or 7 nights, the best deal is:
- $75 for 6 nights and then pay $15 for the 7th night
If you only want to come on the five Mondays starting 5/23, the best deal is:
- $60 for 5 Monday nights starting 5/23
