Two for One, New Classes, Lake City, Two-Step, Beginning Tango, Beginning and Advanced West Coast

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

I have had a number of folks contact me from Northern Florida and South Georgia, Lake City, Live Oak, Valdosta. If you are in that area and want to dance, let me know. I will start a list so we can coordinate in the future.

Saturday night is the Contra Dance at the Boltin Center. There is an Argentine Tango Milonga at Thuy's and Salsa Mundial Social at the Movement.

Sunday at Rena's Ballroom there is a Vintage Waltz Brunch and Swing and Sway Afteroon Dance with Mr. October.

The Beginners Argentine Tango Milonga went so well, we will be doing another one on Saturday June 11. Put that on your calendar. Whereever you are taking lessons, plan to come out and dance with other beginners. Come out this Thursday night for class to get ready.

7:00 to 8:00 pm Beginning West Coast Swing

Five Mondays Starting May 23

5:30 to 6:15 pm Advanced West Coast Swing
6:15 to 7:15 pm Beginning Country Two Step
Schedule varies each week based on participant requests. The above is the schedule for May 23. We will be learning a variety of dances you will find useful at dance socials like Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz. Beginners welcome at the advanced classes. The advanced classes focus on quality of movement, improving fundamental technique, musicality, partner connection, styling and improvisation.
