Argentine Tango Beginner Milonga, Country Two Step, Big Band Swing

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

This Saturday night May 28 my tango teacher Andrea Pham is holding a Beginners Argentine Tango Milonga before her dance, with an easy lesson at 8 pm followed by dancing for beginners. Anyone who has taken one or more tango lessons should go. The regular milonga starts at 9:15 pm. At Hip Moves, one block west of Ward's on the north side. $10

Also Saturday night is the Ballroom Dance at Rena's Ballroom, which is two doors down from Hip Moves.

Next Friday June 3 the Gainesville Big Band Plays Swing Music at Market Street.

We have a bunch of ladies learning to lead on Monday evening. This helps you improve your following skills and empowers you at dances. We could also use some more guys.

5:30 to 6:15 pm Advanced West Coast Swing
6:15 to 7:15 pm Beginning Country Two Step

Schedule varies each week based on participant requests. The above is the schedule for May 30. We will be learning a variety of dances you will find useful at dance socials like Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz. Beginners welcome at the advanced classes. The advanced classes focus on quality of movement, improving fundamental technique, musicality, partner connection, styling and improvisation.
