Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Dancing with Andy
We are having a lot of fun on Mondays and Thursdays. We could use some more men. Let me know if you would like to dance on Mondays or Thursdays. See the schedule that follows.
We have a number of ladies learning to lead. If you are a lady and want to lead, let me know. This is a great way to become a better follower and being able to lead empowers you at dances, because you do not have to wait for someone to ask you to dance.
Monday May 29 Week 2 of 5
- 5:30 pm West Coast Swing
- 6:15 pm Country Two Step
- 7:15 pm Israeli Dancing
The Monday schedule varies based on your requests.
Thursday June 2 Week 3 of 6
- 6 pm Beginning Argentine Tango
- 7 pm Beginning West Coast Swing
Cost:
- $75 for six nights (one night free) and you can use your six nights on either Mondays or Thursdays, or
- $15 per night
Other Dancing
Come out Saturday night for Andrea's Argentine Tango Beginners Milonga from 8 to 9:15 pm followed by regular dancing. At Hip Moves. $10
Ray and Eileen have a Ballroom Dance at Rena's Ballroom, two doors west of Hip Moves.
Next Friday night June 3 Gainesville's Big Band Plays a Swing Dance at Market Street Pub from 8 to midnight.
