No Dancing Monday and Thursday, Resume Next Week

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

This week's newsletter is out early. I will not be sending a newsletter at the end of this week. Check the Gainesville dance calendar here.

Dancing with Andy

We will not be dancing on Monday and Thursday this week. Dancing will resume on Monday next week.

My mother Edith Weitzen passed away today. I will be sitting Shiva, the traditional Jewish mourning practice, with my sisters at my and my mother's home. It is traditional, for anyone that wishes, to attend the services and to visit the family at the house. There is no need to call, but if you want, my number is 352-327-3672. Here is the schedule.

If you would like to visit, your presence only is more than appreciated by the family and you do not need to bring anything. If you like, there is no expectation, you can bring something for the family and guests to eat. I keep a kosher-ish home, which means, you can bring anything that does not have meat.
