Tango Practica Tonight, Gainesville Big Band Friday, Contra Weekend

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Come out for Argentine Tango Practica tonight Thursday April 20 from 8 to 10 pm, at Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side. The cost is only $5. Student age folks are invited for free.

The practica follows my first two regular classes on Thursday nights. I will be teaching a tango class from 8 to 9 pm. You can join the class or practice with others.

Friday through Sunday, Joe Rush hosts Wild Asparagus Contra Dance Weekend at the Dancing Fish in Melrose, with canoeing, picnicking, kayaking and dancing.

Friday night the Gainesville Big Band Plays Swing at Rena's Ballroom at 8 pm. Cost is $15. Let me know if you want to go with my group for a discount.

Also Friday is the Salsa Mundial Monthly Social at the Movement. Saturday night is Ray and Eileen's Ballroom Dance, $12. Sunday night is the UF Argentine Tango Club Year End Dance at the Reitz Union at 8 pm, free.

- $50 for 4 Thursdays (save $10), or
- $40 for 3 Mondays (save $5), or
- $30 for 3 Mondays (save $15) if you are taking the Thursday series, or
- $15 per night drop-in, or
- $5 per night student age, or
- $5 for Tango Practica only, free for student age, or
- $5 for Israeli Dancing only, free for student age
