Open House Dance Saturday Night, Have Faith, Dancing Thursday Waltz, Rumba and Argentine Tango

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

If you ever lose heart during your dance journey, have faith. People have been where you are. They have passed through to the other side. You will too.

Friday night, 7 to 10 pm, also at the Rosa B Williams Dance Center is Artwalv Jump Starts, "Instructors and dancers will demo and introduce you to Argentine Tango, Irish Set and Salsa dancing throughout the evening. JUMPSTart your way into a dance class you have always wanted to try. Plenty of fun, ongoing demos, and information about dance classes that welcome beginners."

Sunday, the fifth of the month, there is an Advanced Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 4 pm. Waltzing at 2:45.

Open House Social Dance and Practice on Saturday

Since this is a quiet weekend for dancing, I have scheduled a dance practice evening at the newly opened Rosa B Williams Dance Center for just $5 to cover the room fee.

Open House Social Dance and Practice this Saturday, July 29 at 8 pm at the Rosa B Williams Dance Center, 524 NW 1 Street, behind the Friends of the Library Book Sale.

This is casual dance practice with an eclectic mix of music suitable for West Coast Swing, Salsa, Lindy, Hustle, Waltz, Rumba, Tango and maybe some other. Informal instruction is available by request. Come out to have some fun, hang out, dance, socialize. No partner needed. All levels welcome, even newcomers. $5

Dancing with Andy

I am back in town for one week. We dance this Thursday August 3. We will take this chance to learn Waltz and Rumba, two of the most useful social dances.

In September we will dance on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays, because of conflict with the Jewish holidays. Here is the tentative schedule.
