Waltz Free, Blues Free, Dancing in Ocala, Contra

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Friday night with the downtown Art Walk is Waltz and English Country Dancing at Rosa B Williams for free from 7:30 to 9:30 pm with live music with Sam and Eden. Afterwards go to 6th Street North, 4401 NW 6 Street for Blues Dancing with Chad, also free, but you could buy something to support the place. Blues dancing is like slow motion Swing dancing with fewer rules, or if you prefer, like a swing version of Argentine Tango. Easy enough for you to do your first time. People there will show you how.

Saturday night is the monthly evening Contra Dance, this time with a pirate theme, at the Boltin Center at 7 pm, with Waltzing at 5:45 pm, $10.

In Ocala, on Friday night is Dancing at Cowboys. Sunday is West Coast Swing. Tuesday is Ballroom Dance.

Cost is $10 for the night per person, since not part of a series.

We are not dancing this Tuesday.

8 pm Argentine Tango

Since some of you missed last Tuesday, because of the storm, we will have a make up day for this series.

Cost is $60 for remaining 5 weeks including the make up day or $15 per night per person.

At Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side.
