Swing, Salsa, Tango Three-for-One Starts Tuesday

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

For new dancers and experienced dancers, we start a new series in Swing, Salsa and Argentine Tango on Tuesday nights.

This is a beginner series for new dancers. If you are a beginner, this is for you.

If you have taken this before, or have taken some other beginner series, you should still take this again. We build on the basics to advance your dancing. As you get comfortable with the basics, you add variations in patterns and styling.

Tuesday September 5 week 1 of 6 (skipping 9/19)
6 pm West Coast Swing
7 pm Salsa
8 pm Argentine Tango Class

The cost is $70 for 6 weeks or $15 per night per person. Come for any one session and stay for the others at no additional charge, three for the price of one. What a deal. As always, if financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, let me know.

More Dancing

Sunday is the monthly afternoon Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 4 pm, with Waltzing at 2:45 pm.

Also Sunday the UF Argentine Tango Club meets at 6:15 pm at the Reitz Union, free.

Monday evening, if you have nothing else to do, try English Country Dancing, easy enough to do your first time, at the United Church of Gainesville, 1624 NW 5 Avenue, $5.

This Tueday Ballroom Dance in Ocala at 6 pm at the Armenian Hall, 8831 SE 58 Avenue.

This month on Thursdays Viennese Waltz with Ray and Eileen at 8 pm at Rena's Ballroom.
