Dancing All Weekend

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

This weekend is filled with dance opportunities.

Friday October 20 is Salsa Mundial's Anniversary Dance Social with a lesson at 9 pm and dancing thereafter, at the Wooly, 20 N Main Street, $8.

Saturday October 21 there is the monthly Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 7 pm, with Waltzing at 5:45, $10. There is a Argentine Tango Milonga at Thuy's at 8:30 pm, contact David.Chayes@gmail.com for directions.

If you want to be entertained Saturday night go to the Dance Review of Folk, Salsa, Tango, Square, Swing and More to Benefit Unicef at 7 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4225 NW 34 Street. You can make a donation.

Sunday October 22 get entertained and join in the programs at UF Health Street 2nd Annual Night of Dance from 4 to 7 pm downtown at Bo Diddley Plaza.

Sunday morning is UF Swing Club Charleston Workshop at 11:30 am in the Reitz Union, $5. The Vintage Waltz Dance is at 2 pm at Rosa B, $10. UF Argentine Tango Club Halloween Practica is 6:15 pm at the Reitz Union, free.

Dancing with Andy

We are dancing this week. This is the last in this series. We will start a new 5 week series on Tuesday November 14. We will also dance on 3 Thursdays.

$15 per night per person, or $5 student, $5 tango practice only

Monday Israeli Dancing at 7:30 pm, $5, free if you come on Tuesday, free for students.
