Latin, Belly, Contra, Tango and Waltz, Schedule Change

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Tonight Friday May 18 there is a Latin Dance Party at First Magnitude Brewing Company from 7 to 11 pm.

Salsa Mundial Social is also Friday with a lesson at 9 pm at their new location 3501 SW 2 Avenue, Suite G.

On Saturday night, if you want to be entertained, check out A Night on the Nile with Special Guest Luna of Cairo for awesome belly and ethinc dancing from 7 to 9 pm at Blackadder Brewing Company, 618 NW 60 Street, Suite A. Free

If you want to dance Saturday night, you have great choices with a Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 7 pm with Waltzing at 5:45.

Baila Cailente May Monthly Social starts at 9:30 pm at Studio C, 1925 NW 2 Street.

Argentine Tango with David and Thuy is at 8 pm. Contact david.chayes@gmail.com for directions.

Sunday afternoon there is Vintage Waltz and Social Dancing at Rena's from 2 to 5 pm. $10, $5 students

Dancing with Andy

We have changed the schedule. The social hall at B'nai Israel will not be available for dancing in June due to the Junque to Jewels program. We will dance for the rest of May. We will take the first two weeks in June off, since I will be out of town. Let me know if you would like to dance the last two weeks in June at another location, either on Thursday or Friday.

The last couple of weeks, for fun, we have been doing Casino Salsa. Casino Salsa, also known as Salsa Rueda, is done in a circle, with calls for the moves and changing partners. Casino Salsa is like Square Dancing to Salsa music with Disco moves.
