Summer Dance this Saturday, New Series in Hustle, Salsa and Tango Thursday, Foxtrot and Quickstep, Milonga Saturday

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Come out to Summer Dance Social Swing and More with Andy this Saturday July 7 at Rena's Ballroom. There will be a mix of music, mostly suitable for West Coast Swing, Lindy, East Coast Swing, Hustle and a little Salsa, Waltz, Cha Cha and Rumba. Come to have fun, socialize and dance anyway you want to whatever you want. Decorations by Robert and Daphne. Bring drinks and snacks if you want.

Come early at 7:30 for the Hustle lesson. Get a chance to meet others before the dance. No Hustle experience needed, other dance experience useful for the lesson. This is in what is sometimes called Latin Hustle, the kind done at the World Hustle Championships. If you know ballroom Hustle, you should come for this Hustle lesson. If you have danced Hustle with me and felt off, you will find out why.

Join our New Series in Hustle, Salsa and Argentine Tango with Andy starts tomorrow this Thursday July 5. Several new beginners have told me they are coming. Best time to start is with other newcomers. This is for all levels. In this series, the lessons are aimed at new dancers. Experienced dancers can review the basics, which is the most important anyway, and will have a lot of time to practice.

Tonight Wednesday learn West Coast Swing with Josh and Judy at Rena's Ballroom.

This Thursday for the month of July, you can learn Foxtrot and Quickstep with Ray and Eileen at Rena's Ballroom.

Saturday night you can Argentine Tango with Rosanna at Rosa Williams Recreation Center, at 8:30. $10

Also Saturday night you can join the UF Swing Club at the Reitz Union, free. On Mondays, the UF Swing Club teaches Swing Dancing at Depot Park.
