Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Mark your calendars for Friday May 11. Come to my casual Swing and More Dance Practice and Social for Everyone with Andy at Rena's Place. Something to do on a Friday night. $10

Make a big mark on your calendars for Saturday July 7. Come out for a Saturday night Swing and More Dance Party and Bob's Birthday for Everyone with Andy at Rena's Place. This is Bob de Rochemont's birthday. He is the one that built Rena's for us to have a place to dance. Help celebrate. $10

This Saturday night come out to Ballroom Dance Anniversary Party with Ray and Eileen at Rena's Place at 7:30. Special event. Dress nice. $15 per person, $25 per couple

On Sunday from 4 to 7 pm is an Advanced Contra Dance at the Boltin Center, preceded by Waltzing at 2:45. They do this on the fifth Sunday of the month. $10

On Sunday at 4 come out to Depot Park for the Israel 70 Independence Day Celebration. Join in the Israeli Folk Dancing with Andy and Israeli Dancers and with Julieta and International Folk Dancers. We will be dancing to Gainesville's live band the Klezmer Katz. The singer Batsheva will perform. There will be food. Free

A new 4 week series for Absolute Beginner Argentine Tango with Nico Mazza starts Tuesday May 1 from 7 to 8 pm at the Limin Room, 2028 NW 6 Street. 352-226-1103. $5

Next Saturday night is Josh Angel's Cinco de Mayo West Coast Swing Dance at Rena's Place. We have not had a West Coast Swing dance in a while. Come out for a good time.
