Afternoon Dancing, Cinco De Mayo West Coast Swing Saturday with Josh, Tango Friday with Andrea, Special Waltz and Contra with Notorious
Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
First, reminder next Friday May 11 come out for informal Swing and More Dance Practice and Social for Everyone with Andy from 7:30 to 10:30 at Rena's Place, 720 NW 23 Avenue. There will be a mix of music suitable for a variety of dances. You can dance anyway you like. Mostly the music will be suitable for West Coast Swing, slow Lindy, Hustle, maybe some Salsa, Rumba, maybe some Two-Step, Cha Cha, maybe some Tango, if we have Tango dancers there. If people want, I may do a lesson in Hustle or something else at 7:30. All depends on who is there. $10

Second, on Saturday July 7 come out for a first Saturday of the month Swing and More Dance and Bob's Birthday Party for Everyone with Andy at Rena's Place. Help Bob de Rochemont celebrate. $10
Who wants to dance in the afternoons? If you would like to dance in the afternoon, while other people have to work, ha ha, let me know. I may be able to schedule time at the Senior Center, Rena's or a city facility.
Tonight Friday come out to Argentine Tango Milonga with Andrea at Rosa B Williams Dance Center, 524 NW 1 Street. Lesson at 8 pm, dancing until 11 pm. $10, $5 students.
This Saturday night come out to Josh Angel's Cinco de Mayo West Coast Swing Dance at Rena's Place. We have not had a West Coast Swing dance in months. Come out for a good time. No lesson. Dancing starts at 7:30 and goes to 11 pm. $15

Optional but fun: wear green and/or red or something with a Mexican flare.
3 hours of WCS bliss with DJ Josh Angel. He will be playing a mix of old and new WCS tunes,
from Blues, Pop, R&B, Funk, Rock, Acoustic, to 80's, 90's, and Death Metal Ukalali Music (kidding about the last one).
There will also be a smidge of Two Step, ECS, Waltz, and Night club 2 mixed in.
The touring band Notorious with Notorious, with Eden MacAdam-Somer, Larry Unger and Sam Bartlett,
will be playing this weekend at the Thelma Boltin Center, 516 NE 2 Avenue on both Saturday and Sunday.
