Waltzing Sunday, New Series on Mondays, Dancing Thursday, Samba, Red, Black and White Balls

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Come out today Sunday September 16 for an afternoon of Vintage Waltz with Patrick from 2 to 5 pm at Rena Ballroom. No partner needed, for all levels. If you do not know how to waltz, people there will show you how. $10

Next Saturday September 22 there are four dance opportunities:

At 2 pm is a Samba Workshop at Gainesville Circus Center, 250 SE 10 Avenue.

From 7:30 to 10:30 pm is a Black and White Ballroom Dance Ball with Justin and Brittany at Rena's Ballroom. $15 per person, $25 per couple, $12 for Parris Dance students, $8 college students

From 9 pm to 1:30 am is Latin Dance Night at Taste Modern Kitchen in Sun Center East with Latin dancing and food. Free

From 9:30 pm to 2 am is Baila Caliente Red, Black and White 3 Year Anniversary Dance Social at Studio C.

We are going to start dancing again early Monday evenings. Come join us this Monday September 17 and on October 8, 15 and 22. We are going to do Country Two Step at 5:30 pm and Hustle with Andy at 6:30 pm. $10 per person per night

Our Beginner Series in Lindy Swing and Argentine Tango with Andy continues this Thursday September 20. We have a nice group of both beginning and experienced dancers. Come join us whatever your level. No partner needed.
7 pm Lindy Swing, mostly to slower music
8 pm Waltz or another Social Dance
9 pm Argentine Tango

This is a progressive series designed for new dancers to learn the basics of these dances. If you are an experienced dancer, you are encouraged to attend as well. We have a group of experienced dancers who practice during this time.

8:00 pm Social Dances Waltz, Rumba, Bachata
9:00 pm Argentine Tango
