Halloween Dances, Salas Extravaganza, Sign Up for Contra Weekend

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Welcome to a weekend of Halloween dances.

Tonight Friday is the UF Swing Club Halloween Dance at the Boltin Center at 8 pm. Free

Also tonight is a Halloween Party and West Coast Swing Favorable Dance at the Eagles Club, 7118 W University Ave from 6 to 11 pm. $3 to $5

Saturday night is Ray and Eileen's Ballroom Halloween Dance Party from 7:30 to 10:30 at Rena's Ballroom. $25 per couple, $15 per person

This weekend, Friday and Saturday is the Gator Salsa Club Fall Extravaganza with workshops and socials. Friday from 9 pm to 1:30 am at Salsa Mundial, 3501 SW 2 Avenue, Suite G. Saturday from 10 pm to 3 am at the Senior Center, 5701 SW 34 Blvd. Saturday workshops in the Reitz Union Dance Studios from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Latin Dance Nights at Taste Modern Kitchen regularly on Saturday nights in the Sun Center, by the Hippodrome downtown. Free

Dancing with Andy

No dancing at B'nai Israel on Mondays and Thursdays for the next two weeks, because I will be out of town.

Come out for our New Beginner Series in Lindy Swing on Monday November 12. Best time to start is with other newcomers. Experienced dancers meet at the same time. We will do Country Two Step with Andy at 5:30 pm and Lindy Swing at 6:30 pm. At Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd
$60 for the 4 week Beginner Series
$10 per person per night for experienced dancers

Come out on Thursdays starting November 15 week 1 of 3, skipping Thanksgiving. To give you a chance to reinforce your experience, we are continuing with the same dances we have been doing. Lindy Swing with Andy at 7:00 pm, Waltz at 8:00 pm and Argentine Tango at 9:00 pm. At Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd
