Something for Everyone Saturday Night, Contra Sunday, Ira Weisburd Folk Dance Workshop

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Come out this Sunday October 7 for a special event Israeli and International Folk Dancing with World Renown Choreographer and Master Teacher Ira Weisburd from 1 to 5 pm at Congregation B'nai Israel. Take advantage of this rare opportunity. Ira will be teaching a variety of fun dances to different kinds of music. As long as you have some kind of dance experience, you can learn the dances like everyone else. Broaden your experience. Contact me with questions. $25 per person

Something for everyone on Saturday night with three different dances.

Saturday night October 6 is Josh's West Coast Swing Retro Night Social Dance at 7:30 at Rena's Ballroom. This is Josh's first dance in months, so make sure you do not miss this one. $15 per person

Saturday night October 6 is Argentine Tango Milonga El Abrazo with Steve at 8 pm at Rosa B Williams. $10 per person

Saturday night October 6 is Salsa Mundial Monthly Social at 9 pm at 3501 SW 2 Ave, Suite G

Sunday is the monthly afternoon Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 4 pm, Waltzing at 2:15. $10

The UF Tango CLub is meeting this Sunday. Next weekend is the UF Tango Club Argentine Tango Weekend with Yari Helfeld.

Dancing with Andy

We had a nice gender balance our last few sessions.

We are dancing this Monday night October 8 Week 2 of 4, and the following Mondays October 15 and 22. We are doing Country Two Step at 5:30 pm and Hustle at 6:30 pm. $10 per person per night. At Congregation B'nai Israel.

We are not dancing this Thursday, because the room is in use. Thursday dancing resumes October 18.

This is a progressive series designed for new dancers to learn the basics of these dances. If you are an experienced dancer, you are encouraged to attend as well. We have a group of experienced dancers who practice during this time.

9:00 pm Argentine Tango
