Salsa Night, Ballroom Dance, DFW Swing Out Demo, Zafire Social

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Tonight Friday April 26 is a Salsa Night with Bob Ocho and La Cocina de Abuela from 8 to 11 pm. This is a fundraising event for Expressions Arts Academy. Delicate desserts, photo booth, more. At La Cocina De Abuela, 125 NW 23 Avenue. $15

Saturday at 4 pm is a DFW Swing Out Demonstration at the 5th Avenue Festival celebrating African-American culture. On the center stage on NW 6 Street near NW 5th Avenue.

Saturday night is the Ballroom Dance Anniversary Party with Ray and Eileen from 7:30 to 10:30 pm at Rena's Ballroom. $25 per couple, $15 single

Sunday is the Zafire Ladies Sunset Salsa and Bachata Social with Lisbeth Guz from 5 to 10 pm. Workshop at 5 pm. Two rooms, one Salsa and one Bachata. At Gainesville Dance and Yoga, 1501 NW 16 Avenue. Social only $8, Student $5. Workshop and Social $15, $10 Student.

We are Social Dancing with Andy through Monday May 6. I will be traveling to Brazil and Argentina in mid-May and into June. On Monday June 17, we will start a new beginner series in Swing, Hustle! and Israeli with Andy. See below for more information.
