Hurricane Party, New Beginners, Kizomba, UF Tango and Swing, Contra Dance

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Saturday August 31 dance at the Impromptu Hurricane Social with Koji at 10 pm at Salsa Mundial, $5. Or at Elio's Latin Show, also at 10 pm, at Felipe's Taqueria, 1209 W University Avenue, $5.

Sunday from 1:45 to 3:45 learn Lindy Hop with Zach and UF Swing Club. On Monday join the UF Swing Club Balboa Series at 8:30 pm. Both in the Reitz Union basement, free.

Also Sunday come out for the monthly afternoon Contra Dance at 4 pm at the Boltin Center, with Waltzing starting at 2:30, $10.

Tuesday September 3 learn Kizomba with Salil and Kathy at 8:30 at Bahama Breeze Island Grille, 3989 Plaza Blvd.

On Wednesday and Friday this week, both at 6:15 pm, learn Argentine Tango with Trista, Alper and the UF Argentine Tango Club in the Reitz Union basement, free.

Cost per person
$60 for 4 week beginner series, or
$10 per night for experienced dancers, or
$5 students, or
$5 Argentine Tango only, students free

Noon to 1:00 pm Line Dancing
