Weekend Full of Dancing, Vintage Waltz, Salsa Team, Social Dance Party on Thursday with Andy

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Come dance with us this Monday November 18 for Salsa, Cross Step Waltz and Hustle with Andy at 5:30 at B'nai Israel. 40 minutes per dance. A little instruction, lots of dance time.

Join us this Thursday November 21 for a Social Dance Party Mix with Andy from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at B'nai Israel. The last one went so well, we will do a similar format. We rotate partners each song, for those that want. We will play 1 to 5 songs of the same type in a row of Bachata, Bolero, Cha Cha, Hustle, Lindy, Nightclub Two Step, Rumba, Salsa, Texas Two Step, Waltz and West Coast Swing. This will be about 15 minutes per dance type. Instruction as needed, otherwise just dancing. If you do not know all the dances, no worries. Everything will work out.

Five dances tonight Friday November 15:

1. Vinyl DJ Battle and UF Swing Club Dance in the Rion Ballroom at the Reitz Union at 7 pm.

2. UF Argentine Tango Workshop with Yari and Milonga with DJ Ramiz at Rena's Ballroom at 7:30.

3. Baila Caliente Social at 9:30 at Studio C, 1925 NW 2 Street.

4. Latin Night Dancing from 10 pm to 2 am at Gold Room Nightclub, 11 SW 1 Street.

5. Late Night Swing and Blues Dance from 11:30 pm to 2 am in the Hippodrome Lower Level.

Saturday from 3 to 5 pm Dance for Universal Peace at the United Church of Gainesville.

Saturday from 7 to 10 pm Contra Dance at the Boltin Center. Come early for Waltzing at 5:45.

Saturday join the Gator Salsa Club 10 Anniversary Xtravaganza with workshops starting at 10:30 am in the Rion Ballroom at the Reitz Union. At 9:30 pm is the evening dance party at the Senior Center.

On Sunday Vintage Waltz with Richard with a lesson at 1:30, dancing from 2 to 4 pm, at Rena's Ballroom.

Salsa Tema Auditions with Koji are on Sunday from 4 to 6 pm at Salsa Mundial.
