Lots of Dancing this Weekend

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

No dancing with Andy on Mondays for the rest of October, due to the room being in use. I will be out of town the first Monday in November. We next dance on Monday on November 11.

Join us on the remaining three Thursdays in October, starting this Thursday October 17, for Latin Dancing, Waltz and Argentine Tango with Andy. Latin dancing will include a mix of social Salsa, Bachata, Rumba and Cha Cha and maybe some Nightclub Two Step. These are similar dances, with the same Quick, Quick, Slow rhythm, at different tempos. Waltz will include a mix of social Country, Cross Step and Slow Waltz. Each hour there is about 15 minutes of instruction and 45 minutes of dancing. All levels welcome. No partner needed. Starts at 6:30 at B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side. $10.

Lots of dancing this weekend. Tonight Friday November 11 there come out for one or more of UF Argentine Tango Class with Trista at the Reitz Union at 6:15; Contra Dance in Melrose at 7:30; and Havana Nights Salsa at the Wooly with Elio Piedra at 10 pm. Note UF Swing Club meets Saturday, not Friday this week.

On Saturday, come out all day for the Salsa Mundial Anniversary Social and Workshops with Koji.

Saturday night Ballroom Dance with Ray and Eileen at 7:30 pm at Rena's Ballroom.

Saturday night Argtine Tango with Steve at 8 pm at Rosa B.

Saturday night at the Hippodrome downstairs join the UF Swing Club Speakeasy Night at 8 pm for a one hour lesson and dancing until 1 am.

Sunday afternoon come out to the Ballroom Dance Showcase with Ray and Eileen from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Rion Ballroom in the Reitz Union.
