Sweet Swing Weekend, Salsa, Bolero

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

No dancing with Andy next week due to the room being in use. Come out Monday March 16 at 5:30 pm for Hustle, Salsa and Two Step, or other, with Andy and on Thursday March 19 at 7 pm for Swing, Waltz, Salsa and Argentine Tango, or other, with Andy. We have a Beginners Series for New dancers starting Thursday April 2. At Congregation B'nai Israel, around the left side in the social hall, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, Gainesville, 32605. Tonight, confirm first, usually there is a First Fridays Social Dance Party with Wanda from 7 to 10 pm at The Elks Club, 511 SW 4 Avenue, Wanda Lloyd, 904-537-7763, $5.

Also tonight Friday March 6 come out for Sweet Swingouts VI with Chris and UF Swing Club at 8 pm at Rion Ballroom in the Reitz Union, followed by late night in the Hippodrome basement. This is the start of a weekend of Swing workshops and dancing.

If you want to watch others dance, tonight you can see the Paul Taylor Dance Company at the Phillips Center from 7:30 to 9 pm at University of Florida Performing Arts, 3201 Hull Road.

Tomorrow Saturday March 7 come out for the Baila Caliente's Dance Social with Bob Ocho from 9 pm to 1:30 am at Studio C, 1315 S Main Street, Baila Caliente, 352-871-7244.

On Thursdays in March you can learn Ballroom Dancing with Ray and Eileen - Bolero from 7 to 9:15 pm at Rena's Ballroom, 720 NW 23 Ave, Eileen Paris, 352-331-2742.

Next Friday, March 13, go out to a special venue for the Contra Dance in Melrose at the Dancing Fish from 7:30 to 10:30 pm at 6228 Dogwood Lane, Melrose.
