Beginner Swing, Contra, Argentine Tango Workshop, Waltz, Ladies Styling, Cinema Verde

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

Gainesville's own annual Cinema Verde is this weekend. 45 films, ten directors in attendance. See the schedule here. http://schedule.cinemaverde.org/

I am back. We are dancing with Andy this week. Join us on Monday February 20 for Hustle, Waltz, Salsa and Israeli with Andy at 5:30 pm and Thursday February 23 for Beginning Swing, Waltz and Argentine Tango with Andy 3 of 4 at 7 pm. There are two weeks left in the beginner series. New dancers can join the remaining two weeks. The cost is $30 per person for new dancers for both weeks. The cost for experienced dancers is $10 per night, $5 students. At Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 16 Blvd, around the left side.

On Friday February 14 go out to the Contra Dance in Melrose at the Dancing Fish at 7:30 pm, held in a barn made for dancing.

This weekend learn Argentine Tango with visiting instructor Mike Eblen with the UF Argentine Tango Valentine Weekend with Mike Eblen starting Friday night at 7 pm at a private home. Rsvp to attend.

Special Ladies Styling, Shine and Spin Workshops with Sonia Rivera on Saturday at 2 pm at Salsa Mundial.

Saturday night is the monthly evening Contra Dance at the Boltin Center at 7 pm.

Come out Sunday February 16 for Vintage Waltz with Richard with a lesson at 1:30, dancing at 2, at Rena's Ballroom.

On Tuesday Ballroom Dance in Ocala with the USBDA at 7 pm.

Wednesday through Sunday enjoy Argentine Tango Week at Thuy’s with Karen and Tate at a private home. Contact David for details.
