Online Dancing Swing, Tango, Contra

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

In November on Tuesdays we have Online Beginner Dance Sessions for Novices with Andy. Let anyone who wants to start dancing know about these. These are 4 week series. Each session is 30 minutes.
Tuesdays at Noon - Beginning Line Dancing
Tuesdays at 7 pm - Beginning Swing Dancing
Tuesdays at 7:30 pm - Beginning Bachata
Tuesdays at 8 pm - Beginning Argentine Tango

Reminder Zoom now requires a password or you get put in a waiting room. If you are stuck in the waiting room, you may have to wait until the end of a song to get let in to the session. When you attend any of our events Dancing with Andy, the meeting Id, password and link are these:

Join us this Monday October 12 at 7 pm. We will either continue our Online West Coast Swing Series with Andy, or if those attending prefer, we can do some other dance. At 8 to 8:30 pm we continue with Argentine Tango.

These are suitable for anyone who has some dance background. You do not need to know these particular dances. You do not need a partner.

During these sessions, you keep moving. We do exercises. We review basics. We learn variations. We practice.

Also join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to do choreographed dances.

On Saturday October 24 come out for In Person Ballroom Dance Retro Party with Ray and Eileen at Rena's Ballroom. On Sunday November 1 there is the In Person Parris Dance Yearly Ballroom Showcase. You must Rsvp to attend their events in person. Confirm with them. See the calendar for details.

This Friday October 16 join the Online Contra Dance from Atlanta from 7 to 9 pm via Zoom.

You do not need a real partner. Imaginary partners are fine, possibly better.

Let me know what you would like to do, such as other levels of instruction, other dances, other formats for the dance sessions or dancing on other days or times.

The sessions are aimed at Beginner Intermediate level dancers. You do not need to be experienced in these particular dances. You should have some dance experience.

If you are a Novice dancer, let me know so we can schedule sessions for you and other Novice dancers.

Share your feedback. We are learning as we are going on how to do online dance sessions.

You can join the online meeting 10 minutes early to chat with others. The dancing starts exactly on time. You can stay online after the meeting to chat with others until I get home and end the meeting.

Payment Options

As usual, if financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, if you just want to try out the session, if you just want to watch, pay whatever you want or participate as my guest, no charge.

If you want to pay, the Cost is:
$5.50 per session, or $22 per month, by credit card, or
$5 per session, or $20 per month by bank transfer, check or debit

When you pay for one session, you are invited to attend the other regular sessions on the same day as my guest, at no charge.

When you pay by the month, this includes all the regular sessions that month on any day.

If you have two people sharing the same online session, only pay for one person.
