Every Cool Cat is Going to Swing Theory Saturday Night, First Outdoor Dance Party Downtown, Ocala Halloween

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

My cousin was in town for his 50 birthday party at the Gator game. His wife is head of the intensive care units at 18 hospitals in New York City. I asked her if she was enjoying her work. She said, "I was, but not anymore. The ICUs are full with people on ventilators. Many young people. It is terrible to go to work, watching people die every day unneccesarily. They are all unvaccinated."

This Saturday at 4 pm every cool cat is going first to Line Dance Family and Friends Outdoor Dance Party Downtown with Wanda Lloyd at Bo Diddley Plaza. Afterwards from 6 to 9 pm, all cool cats are going to Swing Theory at One Love Cafe.

Tuesday in Ocala, cool cats are going to the Ballroom Dance Halloween Party.

Wednesdays learn Ballroom Dancing in Alachua at Momentum Dance Arts.

Dancing with Andy

We are social dancing on Tuesdays and Thursdays in October. Dancing is for all levels. No partner needed. Let me know you are coming. Invite others.

In November, join us for Four Week Beginner Series on Mondays for Israeli Partner Dancing, and on Thursdays for Swing, Salsa and Argentine Tango. Let others know about this series. Let me know if you want to join us.

Join us for Israeli Partner Dancing on Mondays in October at 8 pm.

All dancing at Congregation B'nai Israel, 3830 NW 23 Blvd, around the left side, 1/2 mile east of Fresh Market.

Mondays Israeli Dancing with Andy
7:00 pm Israeli Circle Dancing
8:00 pm Israeli Partner Dancing
$10 per family

Tuesday and Thursday Social Dancing with Andy
7:00 - 8:00 pm Swing
8:00 - 9:00 pm Waltz
9:00 - 9:30 pm Argentine Tango
For all levels, beginners and experienced
$10 per person

As always, if financial considerations are keeping you from dancing, you can just pay $5, or pay whatever you like, or come for free.

Vaccinations required, masks optional, to dance at B'nai Israel. If you cannot get vaccinated for some reason, let me know.

Body Groove with Beth Michelson

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well. I'm back to teaching and I hope you can join in. Here's a little reminder about the class:

Body Groove is a dynamically interactive and creative group dance experience. With great music, I will, as your facilitator, unite everyone in a simple movement or rhythm but you dance it in your own unique way. While exploring a variety of styles and genres you will experience everything from slow, meditative grooves to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. The perfect recipe to nurture body, mind, heart and soul.

We will be meeting at the south east side of West Side Park on 8 Avenue and 34th Street. You can park at the pool or by the playground or by the trail entrance. Probably better to park in the parking lots. There are public restrooms close by. When you arrive please sign and date the waiver form.

Come out for four Saturdays in October at 10 am. Donation $5 to $10.
